Team Guides Job Description:
Team Guides are a big part of the success of the Idaho International Dance Festival. They are generally charismatic, friendly, tolerant to ambiguity, and responsible. A good team guide is responsible for each of the performers on their team. They make sure their needs and feasible wants are met. They also act as an intermediary with host families, other teams, organizers, and more. They are acutely aware of the logistics associated with the Summerfest schedule, accommodations, and transportation times. As such, they have planned and communicated to everyone help the performers be punctual and prepared with all the items that are needed. A special thanks to each of you that are willing to volunteer. Your well-rounded abilities and dedication will earn the respect and love from your team.
Job Activities:
- Know the schedule, and all the logistics required to keep your team successfully fulfilling playing their part in our festival
- Providing a wonderful experience for the performers by making sure their needs are met
- Communicate well with Team Directors, Festival Organizers, Hosts Families and more to keep everyone informed about expectations and plans
- Keep your team organized
- Make sure there is a guide with your team at all times unless they are with their host families during unscheduled performing time
